George Godwin Wagah is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and a former Dean of School of Planning and Architecture, Maseno University. He holds PhD in Planning. He is the Director of SPADE Project, a project implemented by Maseno University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He is also Principal Researcher of Socio Spatial Track Project, a project funded by MISTRA Urban Futures, a project set up to respond to the contemporary challenges facing Kenyan cities and human settlements at large. Additionally, I am part of Maseno University Team involved in a Creating Postgraduate Collaboration Project, which is an EU funded initiative to nurture research-rich environments necessary for postgraduate education. The project partners are drawn from five African and four European universities. He has also been a researcher with Consuming Urban Poverty, an ESRC/DFID funded project.
